Social Dance

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

A different "partner dance" step will be taught at 3pm in The Arcade each full day of PorcFest XI, culminating in this dance, in which each of the steps will be used.

This dance is "social" because it is partner dancing and everyone will have the chance to mix around and socialize on the dance floor.  It will open it with a 1/2-hour waltz lesson by Jody.  A variety of music will be played, such as waltz, swing, and Latin . . . including a few pieces during which dancers will be encouraged to switch partners during the number for extra fun, challenge, and hilarity.  Don't be intimidated!  Some of the steps can be danced by anyone who can walk.  Y'all come!

I don't love grappling with ADHD, but it's teaching me (slowly!) to work with reality as it is. | | I am also a recovering sexual person. Several months ago my therapist... Read More →
