As editor of CabinetMakerFDM, he has used is lifelong entrepreneurial experience to help small manufacturers succeed in business. He developed a national pricing survey for custom woodworking and has spoken on business pricing issues all across the country. As president of Western Sky Publishing, he channeled an interest in metalworking, gunsmithing and firearms history into a successful publishing business specializing in reproductions of historic and significant firearms blueprints and is active in the DIY firearms movement.
